The Presentation Shortcode

As I continue my exploration of how WP can be useful for teaching & learning, I run across all sorts of interesting things.  For example – did you know that there is a “presentation” shortcode?      I’m tinkering and this blog is all about posting without editing, so here’s my first attempt:

This slideshow could not be started. Try refreshing the page or viewing it in another browser.

Clearly, things like transitions and media interact in unexpected (to me) ways.  I’ll keep tinkering.  Curious? Here’s the code for the above ‘presentation’  –

[presentation]
[slide bgcolor=#aaa] slide 1 includes whacky font color[/slide]
[slide bgcolor=#222 transition=right fade=off] slide 2 has awesome link [/slide]
[slide bgcolor=#444 scale=2 fade=off] slide 3 [/slide]
[slide bgcolor=#668 rotate=90 fade=off] slide 4 [soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/322901064" params="auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&visual=true" width="100%" height="450" iframe="true" /][/slide]
[/presentation]
